Built by running a real store
PickIt ShipIt didn’t start as a product. It started as the operations system behind a working multi-channel ecommerce business — then we stripped out everything vertical-specific so any seller could run on it.
Our story
Dogfooded before it was sold
To run a multi-channel reseller well, we built the whole stack: inventory synced across WooCommerce and eBay, orders posting FIFO cost-of-goods into double-entry books, a barcode pick-pack-ship station with live carrier labels, multi-carrier tracking, a supplier and purchasing workflow, and a B2B quote engine — all tied together with email automation and a live ops dashboard.
It worked. It scaled to a catalog of tens of thousands of SKUs. And none of the core was about our particular products — the mechanics of inventory, orders, shipping, and quoting are the same for any physical-goods seller.
So we did the obvious thing: pulled out everything specific to our vertical, moved it into per-tenant configuration, and turned the engine into a product. The reference store is still our best demo — it runs on the same stack we sell.
What we believe
- One source of truth beats five tools that disagree.
- Operations software should be run for you, not by you.
- B2B quoting is badly underserved — so we lead with it.
- Your data is yours: isolated instance, isolated database.
- Start with the wedge that hurts; add the rest later.
Who it’s for
Small-to-mid WooCommerce sellers on two or more channels, often with a B2B or reseller side, who’ve outgrown spreadsheets and app sprawl but aren’t ready for an enterprise ERP.
